A delicate blend of wood notes and spices, punctuated by the scent of cloves and cinnamon. Discreet, subtle and harmonious, it is characterized by a the fragrance of honey and a suggestion of liquorice.
"Bouquet is semisweet and prune-like; several minutes of aeration unleashes much deeper scents of honeydew melon, cantaloupe, roasted almonds and apple butter. The palate entry is full bodied, generous and sweet; at midpalate, the flavor profile turns satiny as scintillating tastes of black cherry, black coffee and Macadamia nut blanket the tongue. Aftertaste is extended, smoky and luscious. 95 points" Wine Enthusiast
A stylish and pleasant cognac resulting from the marriage of more than a hundred individual 'eaux-de-vie' or component cognacs. Some of these 'eaux-de-vie' undergo a lengthier ageing in oak casks than is the practice for many VSOPs and thus lend the cognac intensity and wood notes. The name 'Noblige' points to this cognac's inherent nobility, the hallmark of Martell's creative flair since 1715.
Aromas are ripe and melony; subtle hints of walnut, butter cream, a sensational bouquet.
