The Distillerie Vinet Ege has renewed the most beautiful of traditions with this French Absinthe. Le Tourment Vert is made from grain alcohol of the highest quality and true wormwood just as it was made at the first part of the last century. Le Tourment Vert has been produced in limited quantity. Le Tourment Vert can be served traditionally by pouring water over the top of a sugar cube. To truly appreciate Le Tourment Vert at its best pour it over ice cube and wait for it to become cloudy before enjoying. Owing to this rarity, it should be savored slowly.
Introducing Lucid Absinthe Superieure. Lucid represents a breakthrough product for the U.S. market, as it is the first true, Grande Wormwood-based Absinthe of its type since before prohibition. Unlike imitators in the U.S. and many of the so-called "Absinthe" products that litter the international markets, lucid is crafted directly from select whole herbs, including Grande Wormwood, and never from cheaper assemblages, macerations, extracts or oils.
First produced in 1805, Pernod is the oldest and most international of the French aniseed spirit brands. It is present on the 5 continents and in around 170 countries. The skilful blending of star-anise essences and aromatic herbs used to produce the unique flavour of this distilled spirit is a closely guarded secret. Pernod is enjoyed diluted with cold water in France and, as a long drink, with soda or fruit juice elsewhere in the world.
