"Dark and immense, with deeply concentrated currant, plum and black cherry fruit that's accented by exotic spices and pretty toasty oak scents that unfold, revealing extra facets of depth and complexity. On the finish the fruit is still prominent with rich, chewy tannins and a dash of chocolate. Best from 2007 through 2014. 6,894 cases made. 91 points" Wine Spectator
On the nose, our Delicato Cabernet Sauvignon has full aromas of currant, blackberry, and black cherry that blend well with sweeter aromas of vanilla and toasted bread. This medium-bodied wine has rich, well-developed flavors of cherry, blackberry and a hint of oak to compliment the fruit.
Our 2005 Dynamite Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon shows luscious blackberry, cassis, chocolate and cedar character from high-elevation vineyards in the Red Hills Lake County appellation.
Black fruits with sweet oak and some pepper make this wine very intruiging.
Jammy dark fruit accompanied by soft velvety tannins, followed with a long, rich finish.
"Intense, with a tannic structure, yet the plush currant, anise, earth and cedar flavors push to the forefront and show an excellent range of depth and concentration. The finish turns tight, with a burst of plum, berry, cedar and tobacco. Best from 2006 through 2013. 8,100 cases made. 93 points" Wine Spectator
"Intense and focused, if a bit raw and rustic, with racy, brambly wild berry and currant flavors that are framed by tight, rich, chewy tannins. Finishes with drying, mouthcoating tannins. Decant. Best from 2008 through 2012. 8,500 cases made. 86 points" Wine Spectator
"Marked by spicy, earthy and leathery flavors and scents, this is dry and austere on the palate, with hints of dried currant, berry, mineral and sage peeking through on the finish. Drink now through 2013. 20,000 cases made. 86 points" Wine Spectator
"Dry, herbal and cedary, this is tightly wound and leaves you hoping for more flesh and body. The dried currant and sage flavors lack vitality. Drink now through 2014. 160,000 cases made. 83 points" Wine Spectator
