Reddish-tawny color. Nut skin and earth on the nose. Then spicy, firm and expressive in the mouth, with nicely defined flavors and solid underlying structure. Finishes with a lingering flavor of dried cherry. Would have scored higher but for a slight dankness on the nose.

This wine is full of raspberry and cherry flavors.
